Why should I enter now? I've nothing ready.
At this point we don't expect you to know what you are going to enter into the show. We're more interested in knowing that you want to show something in the show so that we can reserve space for you and plan the layout of the hall, plan lighting etc. So please download an entry form and sign up.
In 2006 we had 36 exhibitors and for 2007 we're planniing to add more. We adding more dividers to create more booths and will additionally use the stage for display space.
Why is a premium entry $100? What do I get for my money?
We think you get a good deal for your money. We'll put a colour picture of a piece of your work and listing in the brochure. Also we'll make a page on this website, again, with pictures of your work plus a link to your website, email address and telephone number and space for a small bio. Check out the exhibitors page.

For 2006 we put ads in The Port Townsend Leader, the Peninsula Daily news, got listings in most of the regional papers (Seattle Times and the PI). There were several press releases through the year plus articles on members of the SplinterGroup which included mention of the show
We printed up 200 posters and put them up all over the peninsula; friends put them up at various locations in Seattle.
The show was featured in the January / February 2007 edition of Woodworker West with 9 pieces being featured in a double page spread. Our thanks to Ron Goldman of Woodworker West for the coverage.
Can I join the SplinterGroup?
We're a self selected group and get on well with each other. We've got a strong focus on running the Woodworker's show and want to do a good job of that, with a minimum of politics and a maximum of fun.
There is a strong sentiment in the group that we want to foster and support woodworkers and woodworking in the Port Townsend area. We're beginning to think of events a few years down the road.
