We are dedicating this year's (2024) show to John Marckworth who passed away in March this year.  John, a talented and creative woodworker, founded the PT Woodworkers Show in the late 1980's with Jim Tolpin and then revived it as a founding member of the Splintergroup in 2006.  

John spent much of his time teaching, mentoring, encouraging and promoting new and established woodworkers in the community and founded the Port Townsend School of Woodworking with Tim Lawson and Jim Tolpin.  

We will deeply miss his kindness, generous spirit, big smile, great sense of humor and willingness to do the tasks no one else would volunteer for.
