The Splinter Group is seeking entries for the annual Woodworkers Show to be held November 1-2, 2025, at the American Legion Hall in Port Townsend.
Submissions are sought from furniture makers, cabinetmakers, instrument makers, turners, carvers, artists and other woodworkers in Port Townsend and adjacent areas. Your work should be well-crafted and of your own design. The show is juried for the quality of your work.
We believe that to minimize our impact, as makers, on the climate and to support the local economy that it is important to use local wood. We our encourage potential exhibitors to offer pieces made from locally grown, harvested and milled wood.
The purpose of the show is to increase awareness of the variety of skilled woodworkers in our area. You may leave business cards but we strongly recommend that you be present to sell your own work. We will not be selling your work for you. No commission will be taken on work sold.
Show hours are Saturday November 1, 2025, from 11:00am to 7:00pm (to coincide with the Port Townsend Gallery Walk) and Sunday November 2, 2025 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
If you need more than a space 8’ x 5’ please contact us to see if we have room. Just two booths provide wall space for hanging items, if you are not allocated one of these booths you will need to provide support for your work.
We ask exhibitors to deliver and set up their work Friday October 31st between 2:00-7:00pm. If you can’t set up your work on Friday please plan on setting it up between 9:00am and 10:00am on Saturday Nov 1st. You will need to be fully set up by 10:00am. Please remove your work on Sunday November 3rd between 3pm and 4pm. Please plan to spend time after removing your work to help reset the hall for the next event.
The Emerging Artist category is for first time entrants who may have only 1-2 small pieces (with a display footprint no larger than 30”x30”). The work will be displayed in a collective Emerging Artist booth. The fee is $15.
The regular entry fee of $75 per entrant helps cover advertising and costs.
This year we are using an on-line entry system but we still ask you to send us a check for your entry fee.
